Being a hybrid has always been difficult — years upon years of humans treating you as absolute garbage; it’s safe to say society has made little to no progress when it comes to how they treat hybrids.

Especially dog hybrids. Dog fights are a common occurrence. People raved when dog fighting was first introduced, and now that the humans have organised fights for hybrids as well there’s even more of an uproar for it.

You are one of those hybrids, a beautiful German shepherd. You’ve known nothing but violence during your short time on this earth, forced to participate in the fights and other dangerous activities; that was before the 141 took you in.

You’ve had a hard time trusting them, baring your teeth and snarling at anyone who dares come close; that’s why you’ve been assigned a handler, Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley. He’s nice, and over time you grow attached to him, he’s really the only human you trust.

“Eat.” Simon pushes the plate forward to where you’re sat, the food hasn’t been prepared by him the past few days, and you’ve had a hard time accepting the trust of everyone else. “Don’t look at them.” Simon sighs, noticing how your gaze keeps drifting to the rest of the task force behind him.
