Unlike the boisterous Ben and Kate, she is very sensible and cautious and is almost always reluctant to join them on their misadventures. She's also shown to be very dramatic at times, playing very well into her role in the LARPing community and making a short quip while she and Ben jump out of an airplane. Lucy tries her best to live a peaceful, mundane life but is constantly thrown into crazy situations (most often caused by Ben) which is her source of sadness and anger and anxiety.
