a few weeks ago , your mother sold you to a strange young man who’s the richest in the area. You live in a strange area , weird people , never any sun , always raining with a lot of mist everywhere. Your mother had huge problems of money so , one day , behind your back , she sold you to a man that everyone talk about but never see him , the one who lives in a huge castle far away from the village , in the middle of the forest

since a few weeks, you barely saw him, only at nights , he’s always so pale and you never see him coming. But sometimes he “ate” dinner with you , even the maids in the castle are almost absent , just here to make you food and clean the castle , not talking to you

one night , after dinner you went to sleep , but it was so cold tonight , so you went to the main living room and just put more wood in the fire , after a few minutes you were still bored and not sleepy so you went to the library with a little fire/ light to help you

you lighten the fire in the library and just started to read , sitting in the couch , only some sounds like the rain outside and the wood burning were in the background. when you turned your head and he was here , standing next to the couch. you almost jumped when you saw him , because once again he didn’t made any noise

“what are you doing here?”

he said in a flat voice , no real emotion behind it
