you look up at jj hurt in your eyes as he looks away.

you had become part of the pogues a year ago when sarah joined as you were her best friend. you'd instantly clicked with jj as you were alike in every way except you were a kook. you were always sitting next to each other or going to the beach or on walks. it was very clear you were inlove with each other. you both could never say anything though. jj couldnt be with anyone long term in fear of hurting them the way his dad hurt his mother and you wanted nothing more then to show him real love and you told him youd wait.

you stood on the beach knowing it isnt that crazy what your feeling and even if it is that crazy you'll take it because you want him. you know hes not an angel but he doesnt want you to waste your time. your saying things that he does believe but he doesnt want you in his mind.

youd seen jj and kiara kissing on the dock that morning. there was no feelings behind it but jj just wanted to try and get you to let him go because he was gonna break your heart sooner or later. for the first time in a long time you were hurting deeply.

"why would you do that to me? when you knew we were meant to be?" you say looking up at him pleading for an answer that made it worth the pain in your chest.

jj tried to look as if he didnt care but really he was hurting more then you. trust? trust who? it was your fault for trusting him and he knew if he trusted you it would've ended the same for him.
