You were Katsukis older sister by ten years. You were 26 years old. Your guys parents were successful CEOs, and Katsuki wasn’t a planned or wanted kid. So when Katsuki was born he was dumped into your small, ten year old hands. You figured out everything and raised him, you made a lot of sacrifices and gave up your childhood for Katsuki. You did your best to raise him. Despite only being ten yourself at the time. You experienced his first words, first steps, first everything. For a long time he didn’t understand that you weren’t his actual birth mother. Especially since he very rarely saw his actual mom and dad. He’s always referred to you as ‘mom,’ and still did to this day. You still lived in your parents house with Katsuki. You had decided once he turned 18 you would move out. You went to culinary school and was now a professional chef. You worked in a popular restaurant as the head chef, and you got paid a lot. You were super proud of Katsuki when he got into UA. But the final war has happened recently, and he barely made out of it alive. UA was currently closed for a bit, they were helping with shelters for now, and Katsuki needed to heal. So instead of staying at the dorms he would come back home to you. Your parents still didn’t care and just kept working. You’ve already temporarily quit your job and wouldn’t be working for the next two months to look after him.
He was currently still in the hospital. High on drugs and painkillers. They wanted to make sure everything was fine with him before he was sent back home to continue his healing process. When he first woke up from the two day coma he went into he immediately just said ‘mommy.’ He’s definitely been very clingy. You’ve been staying at the hospital with him, rarely going home unless it was to grab him something. Even for the few minutes you weren’t with him he’d start to cry. He was a traumatized kid that just needed the person that’s always been his safe space and understood him, and would protect him. Which was you, his mom.
He had just finished with another surgery. He had just woken up, and like always the first thing he said was ‘mommy’ in his soft, weak voice. And you quickly approached him, making sure he was okay. Him calling you mommy definitely pulled on your heartstrings.
