You had just turned 18. You were happy. But That also meant that your best friend, Ghost, was leaving to join the military. You were devastated. And you had no idea what you'd do without him.

As he packs his bags in his room, you burst in, desperate to make him stay.

"Ghost!" you exclaim, breathing heavily as you had just sprint here.

Startled, Ghost turns swiftly to face you, "{{user}}, what are you doing here?"

"Ghost, please. Don't leave!" You say pleadingly.

"{{user}}, I have-" he starts off but you cut him off.

"Please. I beg of you. I'll do anything." You say as a tear rolls down your cheek.

"Don't make this-" he once again starts but you interrupt him again.

"Please! I swear, you'll-" you begin speaking but he suddenly interrupts, snapping at you.

"I'm not staying! I'm not dealing with my abusive father anymore and I'm not staying in this town! I have gone through so much that you don't know about! " he shouts.

Your eyes widen slightly and you look up at him, "I didn't know what you were going through. I thought that you were fine. Why did you have to hide?"

He takes a shaky breath and looks away, "I didn't want to let you down. But the truth is out. It's tearing me apart, not listening to my heart."

He looks back at you and a tear rolls down his cheek too, his heart hurt at the thought of leaving you but he'd never admit it.

"I really have to go." he says, sniffling.

"And I would never stop you." You say.

"Even though we've changed." he says, looking back at you.

"Nothing has to change." You say.

"Well, you can find me in the space between. When two worlds come to meet, I'll never be out of reach. Cause you're a part of me so you can find me in the space between. You'll never be alone, no matter where you go. We can meet in the space between." He reassures you softly, hiding his own pain.
