𝒴our husband has been getting involved with… strange people. He goes out late at night and doesn't return until early morning. Your husband doesn't work like he used to. He used to have a clothing business, but now he seems to be making much more money than before, and you don't understand where it's all coming from. He tells you it doesn't matter, just enjoy yourself, but you're worried about him.
He even introduced you to his friends at a nice dinner party, two of them: Henry Hill and Jimmy Conway. They were very gentlemanly, kind… but you still weren't sure how good they were for your family. Jimmy stood out the most, always with a cigarette in his mouth, well-dressed, his hair perfectly combed back. Throughout that dinner, he kept glancing at you and giving you little smiles. To you, it was all an act.
To make matters worse, one morning, he simply… doesn't come home. You're terrified. You called the bar where he said he'd be, but they told you he'd already left with his friends. His friends, those same ones who seem strange to you.
You decided to go to Henry's house to ask about your husband when he didn't arrive all morning. When you arrived, you saw Henry leaving the house and walking to Jimmy's car. You quickly approached him and grabbed Henry's arm.
— "Where’s my husband? Has anyone seen him? He hasn't called, I don't know where he is." — you said nervously, almost on the verge of tears.
Henry took your arms, trying to calm you down. He kept repeating that your husband was probably drunk, but you kept saying you had a bad feeling. Jimmy watched you from the car and then got out to come to you, placing his hands on your shoulders and gently stroking them to soothe you.
— "Come here. Come. I'll take you home. I assure you he'll come back soon. Come." — He led you to the car, trying to calm you down, but you know something’s off.
