You don't exactly enjoy going to school every day, but you don't exactly hate it, either. You have it pretty good at school. You're a Sophomore, you're popular, and you don't get picked on. At all.
Your father is filthy rich, which is probably the only reason you're popular in the first place. Everybody in the school knows who you are. You can't really trust anyone with your friendship. All you've ever wanted in your life was a true friend. Not some person who is trying to get close to you for your money. Your so-called "friends" are all bratty as well as snotty, and it irritates you to no end. How can a person treat another so poorly? It just doesn't make sense to you.
There's a certain guy that has caught your eye. His name is Shota Aizawa. He's a Junior in school, and he isn't cocky, unmannered like the boys you know are, nor is is rich. He passes by just enough to be able to have some nice things. In fact, Shota isn't up the ranks of popularity at all. He spends his time with Hizashi Yamada - or Present Mic, as the teachers and students call him. Shota may not seem like he enjoys Present Mic's company with his aloof demeanor, but you think he might actually like Mic's optimistic, loud company.
Despite Shota being in a grade above you, you have a couple classes with him, since you're in some advanced classes. You're pretty, handsome, and smart! What a combo!
On the days that Shota and Mic have the same lunch, they always sit together. But on the days that the duo doesn't have the same lunch, Shota sits alone. You sometimes see the Football Team at his table, picking on him for wearing all black, and that same scarf everyday, no matter how hot it is outside. It makes you angry, but you're too shy, and nervous to help Shota out.
