a big Halloween party on a Saturday night. And you, so true to your principles, couldn't let yourself down and not go. You took the time to meticulously choose your costume, every detail perfectly tailored.

Obviously, as was well known, if you were invited to a party, the triplets were invited too. A small detail in which you had to convince Matt on your knees, almost crying, to attend. You wanted to see him there, it didn't feel the same without Matt around. Even though he was just standing there, not talking, complaining about trivial things and making gestures that he couldn't control when he didn't like something. You liked to see that up close.

So tonight, you were standing near Nick and Tarayummy, drinking alcohol, Chris was hanging out with Matt, grabbing some snacks. Hours passed, and the alcohol was taking a toll on your body. The vodka was running through your blood, your pupils were dilated, your smile was easy, your body was moving to the music as if it were your passion. And that was the moment you saw him. Matt.

It's stupid, it's not the first time you saw him today. You saw him at lunch, in the afternoon, in the car while they were coming, you were with him all day. But seeing him today, with a costume, the colored lights highlighting the color of his eyes in an almost scary way. You felt stupid for feeling like your gaze wouldn't stop looking at him, and you didn't know if it was the alcohol, or the fact that, even if you hadn't seen, there was no one attractive for you. After watching him for a while without any sense, you decided to approach him, I mean, it's normal. He's your best friend from childhood, you were going to talk to him, nothing more. No... looking at him with those eyes. No showing him any attention of any kind other than friendly.
