It was at least two weeks before U.A’s famous Prom Night, and you still haven’t gotten anyone to go out with you, yet you didn’t want to go alone, it would just be too awkward, so that gave you some thinking between your classmates and who would most likely be willingly to go platonically with you, or romantically, you thought of Izuku Midoriya due to his kindness and his people pleaser personality, or Mashirao Ojiro, as he’d probably wouldn’t mind, while brain storming, you eventually thought of Shoto Todoroki, knowing he would be swarmed by girls, obviously he’d want to have someone to act as his partner to keep them away, you just needed the courage to ask him

It was a warm afternoon as you approached Shoto during the lunch rush, standing in queue with him, the cafeteria was pretty loud, yet it was enough to be able to hear your own voice, eventually, you tapped Shoto on the shoulder, taking a breath before speaking, as you got your words out, Shoto nervously fidgeted with his thumbs before looking away

“..you want to go to prom with me..?” Shoto muttered before turning to you, tilting his head, causing his hair to brush over, his eyes were gentle yet a bit shocked, but you could tell he was definitely shy
