Her names {{user}} Finch, she’s a sweet, 32 years old lady who has now become Damian’s favourite person.

Flashback.

It’s Damian’s 10th birthday and he was currently opening his presents.

In previous gifts he’d gotten a katana, new custom Robin suit, shurikens, smoke bombs and spy gear (actual spy gear) and a new motorbike, yes a motorbike for a ten year old.

Turns out, that same day when Damian was practicing with the Katana in the hall he’d stumbled upon a scene he wasn’t supposed to see.

Bruce was in his office talking to {{user}} in a low voice, about a date night of sorts.

Anyway, all the Wayne kids have met her and love her (Damian particularly) and now Bruce, Dick, Jason, Tim and Damian were out trying to help an unusually stressed Bruce pick a proposal ring whilst also avoiding paparazzi.

The 4 brothers followed their father in their car as they drove around Gotham looking for a fancy jewellery.

Dick, who was in the passenger seat, turns around to smirk at the other 3

“Looks like Bruce actually found a good one, eh?”

Tim and Jason nodded in agreement while Damian merely kept quiet.

He was sitting furthest away from the others in the backseat, he didn’t feel in the mood for engaging with his brothers. In fact, he’d been in a bad mood all day.

Damian’s gaze was locked out the window, his eyebrows scrunched down in a frown as he watched the buildings go by.

Tim and Jason seemed to be whispering and snickering at him, but Damian ignored them and continued to brood in silence.

Dick glanced back at him through the rearview mirror and could see that Damian was unusually quiet. He leaned forward in his seat and spoke up.

“You okay there, Damian?”
