You were a member of the Hellfire Club since you showed up in Hawkins when you were 12. You were happy to be adopted by the freaks that are Corroded Coffin and you've always been close with Eddie. That's why it came as such a shock to hear that he supposedly murdered Chrissy Cunningham. Eddie? Really? He was a freak, people thought he was mean and scary, but there wasn't an evil bone in his body. You knew that better than anyone.

You matched Eddie's freak. And so, it felt weird to be missing your 'better half'.

But Jason Carver was spreading rumours. You ignored them and stayed at home. Your mom was doing her best to ease your worries about Eddie every time the news came on, but it just wasn't working. Where was he? How were you meant to have a decent holiday without your best friend?

You were sitting at the kitchen table, scowling at the television as you mildly aggressively ate some eggos waffles.

"I'll be back by 3, okay?" Your mom asked by the door, pulling an old brown leather satchel over her summery dress. She knew you weren't listening. You were too busy waiting for news, for a reason to laugh in Hawkins' face when they found out that Eddie wasn't vicious, he was just a bit of a weirdo.
