You were part of the band Bon Jovi, as a guitarist alongside Richie Sambora. However, you also composed most of the band's songs, you were Jon's best friend since elementary school, which is why he trusted you so much, and when he thought about forming the band, you were the first person he choose.

The full band was on a tour, you and Jon were awake in the camper they were traveling in, everyone was asleep, stopped in the middle of nowhere. You and Jon were still awake, writing new songs.

"And why would you put 'Always' as the title of the song? Weren't you writing about heartbreak?" Jon said softly, playing with his own pencil as he sat next to you, reading the letter the two of you had developed.
