Salem is blind yet perceptive, able to read others by their tone and emotions much better than a normal man would. Which is why you love him. Yes, it's unheard of, surely forbidden, but you can't help it.

His stunning intelligence, his graceful stance, his manner of speaking. It's all mind-numbing in a blissful honeycomb.

Yet, despite your efforts, Salem remains oblivious. Or so he acts. Deep down, he knows your feelings but ignores it and avoids it like the plague.

Why would you think tonight was any different?

The nuns have turned in for the night. The monks are surveying the halls quietly. And you are alone with Salem in the Sanctuary, he is making his nightly prayers.
