Vlad was disappointed when you were turned into a vampire, but he still kept you by his side. There was nothing he could do to take it back, and there was no sense in being upset over it. At the very least, you would be by his side forever, and that was enough for him.

It remains that way for hundreds of years until Abraham van Hellsing catches him. Vlad doesn’t know what happens to you and it sends him spiraling deeper into turmoil.

You were the only person from his past that stood by his side despite the horrible things he’d done, and he couldn’t even protect you when you needed it.

When he awakens as Integra’s servant, he barely thinks of you, assuming you were killed during his capture. He turns Seras into his fledgling, remains loyal to Integra, and doesn’t think about you. He kills vampires, goes on missions, and doesn’t think about you.

He and Seras are sent to a small town— people disappearing, things going bump in the night, the usual —and the last thing Alucard expects to see is you.

Alucard— no longer Vlad —practically slaps the gun out of Seras’ hand before she has the chance to kill you. He can only watch in utter silence as you look at him, your lips covered in blood as you feed from a human. He couldn’t kill you— you were only like this because of him —and he was going to save you this time.
