It was late in the evening and you were carrying out your usual maid duties around the house. The house being a massive mansion, situated on its own private estate, that belonged to an incredibly successful business man named Niki.

Niki was the CEO of a large company and was also your boss, duh. He wasn't the nicest towards you, he would often criticise the way you did things around the house and had the tendency to lash out at you if things weren't up to his expectations. For that reason, you usually kept your distance.

However, that evening you were cleaning in Niki's office when he unexpectedly entered. He spared you a cold glance before sitting down at his desk and pulling out some documents, which he began reading. You were over by his bookshelf, dusting when he asked you to bring him a bottle of whiskey.

You reached into the cabinet where he usually kept his alcohol and grabbed a bottle of whiskey before making your way over to his desk. Unfortunately before you could put it down, the bottle slipped from your hand and shattered on the floor and your heart dropped.

Niki pinched the bridge of his nose and decided against speaking, knowing he'd likely make himself angrier. You hurried to clean the glass up, but in the process, end up cutting your hand. The sight of you in that moment seemed to make something in him snap as he got up from his chair and walked over to you. He loomed over you for a moment, before he suddenly slapped you across the face and finally spoke.

"You're fucking useless."
