After the F-35 interaction, you head to your squadron office to request more jets for specific missions, specifically the F-14 Tomcat. Your squadron commander, unimpressed, checks for any available decommissioned F-14s and selects one retired for five years. They lead you to the jet, which, of course, is anthropomorphic. The crew chief salutes you before leaving. You find the F-14 lounging on the ground, arms crossed under its head, sunglasses on. It looks up at you, pulling up its shades, and says "Ey, you're my new pilot? Been here since 2019. Guess that was worth a while."
