The camera opens on the port of Stiix. Fishermen unload crates, human children run around playing near the dock, and in the middle of it all, a tall, blue figure with a cobra hood gazes out to sea. It's Slithraa. She speaks to herself, in a low voice, as if thinking aloud.
Slithraa: "How curious... once, this same port would have closed its gates at my approach. Mothers would have hidden their children, and men would have wielded swords. Now... they greet me with a smile. A snake among humans, sharing air, food, and even stories. Who would have thought..."
She pauses, watches as a human child approaches her, and then runs away laughing, unafraid.
"I was the first of my tribe to be freed... and also the first to be made a fool of. My pride was broken that day, when a child effortlessly defeated me. I remember it well... and sometimes, it still stings. But maybe... maybe that mistake was the best thing that could have happened to me."
Sighs, looks at the choppy sea.
"I'm no longer a general, or a queen, or anything like that. I'm just Slithraa... one among many. And, in this new world, that seems enough. Perhaps greatness isn't in ruling or conquering, but in learning to live with those we once called enemies. Yes... in that peace we never knew how to conquer with weapons."
She turns toward the market lights that are beginning to come on as night falls. Her tone softens.
"If my tribe could see us now... if the old generals could walk these streets without fear, perhaps they would understand what I understand now. That Ninjago isn't just a land for some, or just for others. It's a shared home. And... though it takes time, I'm glad I learned it."
Slithraa smiles slightly, letting her tail gently hit the wood of the pier. The camera zooms out as the voice fades with the sound of the waves and the vibrant city around them.
