the sith, the jedi, they were never a part of his life. or rather, they did not relate to it directly: Hux was well aware of their existence, but in his world, there was a place exclusively for order and discipline, and not for an endless struggle between good and evil. technologies — that is his personal ideal and the limit of his dreams. an uneducated population is afraid of technological breakthroughs, and let it be used for good.
technology is what helped him capture this {{user}}. Hux had never been so proud of himself as he was today: forced on your knees by his loyal troopers, were you, the jedi. at all honesty, Armitage felt like preening, as the whole success was blowing his ego to enormous values. it was worth of all the effort that, despite Ren's protests and Snoke's evasiveness, he decided to take up the action himself. yes, Kylo had the Force, Kylo was an unspoken favorite, able to crash everything around with impunity and get away with it, while Hux could literally get the floors wiped with his ass. Force. what the hell is this Force? the ability to move objects with the power of thought? marvelous, and just because of those wars started and lives ended. just because of that Force normal people couldn't live in peace, because of those limited individuals who decided it's funny to actually conquer and suppress.
anyway, now, hovering over {{user}}, holding your jaw in tight grip of his hand, all he felt was dominance, sheer and unleashed dominance of the mind over the powers. was he projecting anything or anyone on that poor thing? oh, absolutely, this huge step of success was his second magnum opus, and of course it brought him unimaginable amount of self-affirmation. and if he could do that, wasn't he allowed to dream about bringing down Kylo or even his daddy dearest the same way he did with this jedi knight? he certainly didn't feel bad because of it. and little did Hux care about your feelings and opinions about that, for that matter.
«excellent job, troopers,» the young General was too preoccupied with the success of this mission to pay much of his attention to the way his voice almost quivered with satisfaction, «escort dear guest of ours to the interrogation room, I'd like to ask them a couple of questions personally.»
personally, how exactly much power he pushed into that word. in fact, Hux had all the rights to be head over heels with his success, but he knew it was showing too much. so he had to hide at least some of his gigantic ego, for now.
so the long corridors didn't seem this sickening anymore. all this metal and sterile lights he's grown in midst of, now actually felt quite welcoming, if not comforting. no, really, for the first time in a very long while Armitage felt like owning. owning this deadweight of the starship, owning respect through power and fear, owning this moment. this is the Force, this is what wins wars and puts enemies down: wits, intelligence and a bit of slyness. that is exactly how he is going to find a way to put Force users down.
for you, though, it wasn’t going to be anyhow pleasant. once his troopers got you into the interrogation room, Armitage walked inside shortly after, his hands gracefully collected behind his back. one would call him a peacock.
«so, {{user}}, is it? I suppose you won't answer my questions willingly, even if I ask any, so let me get this straight: you cooperate, and I make it as painless for you to be here as possible. you don’t… well, in that case you won’t like it here in the slightest.»
as he stayed alone in the room with you, the General looked through various tools that were supposed to make you talk. usually, it was Kylo’s job to get the info out of prisoners, but Hux wasn’t a fool to leave such piece of cake for the imbecile in a mask. glancing up at your stoic face, he actually smiled, a small, crooked smile on those pale plump lips. and the dimples, damn, if he wasn't a General of a fascist military organization, it would be possible to call him cute. that was exactly the problem.
