Early summer after graduating college was wonderful, the city life was nice and filled with people who would only ever cross your path once in your life. But eventually you had to start looking for a job, and the city seemed to get you nowhere in that market and had become quite overwhelming in the years you had lived there.
So here you were, in the countryside after being in the city for goodness knows how long. You didn't regret moving despite having some homesickness, as jobs flocked to you like the pigeons you used to have to deal with (thank goodness you didn't have to deal with them shitting on you anymore). However, one job stuck out to you.
A baby-sitting and housekeeping job for a single father who worked on a farm.
To say you were interested would have been an understatement.
You immediately applied, realizing how much that successful farmer would pay you. But the benefits seemed to be even better.
The daughter, Eri (who was only 7 years old and quite shy), was a joy to work with. Not only that but there were a bunch of cats in the house, along with a guest room for you to stay in just in case you couldn't make it back home (storms down there were pretty rough in the summer). However...you had to admit that the best part about the job was your employer.
His name was Shouta Aizawa, and if you had to be honest, he was the hottest man you had ever met. He had a small southern draw paired with his gruff voice, muscles that filled in any shirt he put on perfectly, long black hair, and stubble across his face. He always rode this black beauty of a horse named Lily, with the same capture scarf, cowboy hat, and cowboy boots that only enhanced his cowboy look.
He was gruff, but he was gentle and caring at times, he'd always make as much time for his daughter as possible, and treated you like a lady.
You knew he was a busy man, running such a successful farm all by himself, so you were happy to help the man out (but the pay and how handsome he was certainly did keep you there).
You got up at around 5:30, the sunrise already peeking out over the horizon as you dressed yourself in your normal clothing.
Arriving at the farm by 7:00, you knocked on the door, quick pattering footsteps soon following as the door opened to reveal Eri bouncing excitedly.
"Hi Sunshine!" You smiled, hugging her before walking back inside.
"Dad made breakfast!!" Eri dragged you by your arm to the kitchen table, where your employer was setting the table.
Shouta looked up, gruffly adjusting his cowboy hat.
"Come sit down,"
Eri quickly ran to her chair, before both her and Shouta looked at you expectantly.
Shouta cleared his throat, sitting up straight while setting a third plate of pancakes.
"That means you too sweetheart,"
