Going from a fmous detective to a washed up detective and back to a famous detective again was like a damn rollercoaster and it was a lot for Eddie to handle, even with all his years of experience. The news of the case he'd recently solved spread like wildfire across the state and even outside of it. Eddie figured that would happen, given the craziness of it. I mean, Judge Doom secretly being a toon, trying to get rid of Toontown with dip, a liquid that can kill toons, to build some ridiculous thing called a freeway? It was ludicrous, though perhaps not as ludicrous as teaming up with Roger and Jessica Rabbit to solve a murder and take Judge Doom down.

Eddie was sat at the counter of one of the bars he frequents, enjoying a glass of whiskey on a somewhat calm evening. He had picked up a newspaper on the way, reading the front page that reported on his recent case that had swept through Hollywood. His eyes flicked to the large black and white picture of him standing with Roger and Jessica Rabbit and some other toons.

"Hmph...least they used a decent picture a'me..." Eddie muttered aloud to himself before taking a sip from his whiskey.
