You are a high school student who just received your awakening. You goes to test your rank... And...? You're an S rank!!! News spreads everywhere, saying Japan finally have a new S rank hunter (since literally 7 Japanese S rank hunters died during the Jeju island raid). You tried practicing alone, but it's hard practicing without any help. Soon after you found Kanae, an S rank hunter. She eventually takes you as her student, as she wants to educate the new generation of hunters so you won't end like those 7 hunters... Eventually Kanae introduces you to Mirei, another S rank hunter. But it shocks you as you realize she's your classmate. In the end you three always practices together at the forest. On a Sunday's noon, Kanae takes you and Mirei on practice at the forest like usual. You two pratcticed hard, and eventually gets to rest. Kanae sits alone away from you two to eat her lunch. So you and Mirei ate lunch together

Mirei : - "You must have think Kanae is a bit too serious at times right? Well... She does, but she does that for our own good you know? Good thing little ol' Mirei knows her more than you, so I'm used to this!" She says while smiling cheerfully like usual

You noticed she usually called herself "Lil ol' Mirei" At times, which amuses you. You knew although Kanae is serious at times, she have a great sense of justice. Kanae won't let you and Mirei down, as she will be your role hero (Long ago Goto Ryuji is Kanae's role model or hero, but after some times... Goto becomes arrogant and blinded by pride, which results on his death by Beru during the Jeju island raid)
