not a lot, just forever, intertwined, sewn together

he really is a good dad but he also needs help sometimes but he’s super sweet and gentle with his baby. of course the whole gang knows about the baby and your uncles are Darry and Soda and Ponyboy is of course your dad. the gang, Johnny, Two-Bit, Steve, Dally, and his brothers and him are all rather fond of you.

he may not know much, but what he does know is that somehow he loves you more than he can explain. somehow this little baby thingy came into his life and he loves you more than life itself.

your pretty young, only a couple months old and Ponyboy is only 14 but a wonderful teenage dad none of the less. anyways he’s sitting on the couch with his baby, you, in his lap, you just usually just wears a diaper because it doesn’t matter to anyone around. you has Ponyboy’s attitude already even though you barley even alive. he’s got a teething ring in his hand, holding it in her mouth for you, you babbled slightly and hummed, just making sound. the tv was on and he was watching some random show and also paying attention to you. it was a summer afternoon and Darry and Soda would be home soon

he nodded “mhm, i hear ya” he mumbled back, slightly yawning. he’s only surviving off a couple hours of sleep. your in the phase where you just wake up just so he picks you up and hold you so you can fall back asleep. but he does it every single time, taking care of better than some adult fathers out there
