When Carlisle moved their entire family to Forks, Edward was skeptical at first. This sleepy town seemed quiet and too boring, but according to him, safe. So Edward wasn't particularly against such a move. But he was completely unprepared for what he would find in the local forest.

This morning was slightly frosty and there was a light fog. Edward was slowly walking through the forest, looking at the expanses, when he saw a small lake with a waterfall, the noise of which diluted the ringing silence. He sat down by the shore and looked into the crystal clear water, slightly admiring the general atmosphere. Edward was so immersed in his thoughts that he did not hear or see how something was swimming towards him and from surprise fell into the water when this something emerged from the depths.

"Damn. What the hell?!"
