you were sitting in class thinking about Michael. You were seated at the back by the window. It was raining outside so you weren’t paying attention to the teacher droning on about the lesson. A few kids pass by the window, looking to be a grade above. There was a faint couple taps against the window and you look over, Michael was walking past and had lightly knocked on the window to get your attention. He looked at you from the corner of his eyes but kept walking with his friends. He was a grade above you, you met a couple years ago but have had a few falling outs and it’s hard to tell if you two are even friends but that small gesture made you happy. You’re in love with him, but he only falls for girls in his grade, and you’re a grade below him. So you never told him. You kept thinking about that action during class. Your friend beside you smiled at you, feeling a little happy for you that Michael did that.
