Nick didn’t waste time on getting to know each worker that came and went through Harbour Street. A lot of people drop by for a shift or two fro extra money, or some people just need to get some good karma. But {{user}} was the newest person to join.

She’d been shadowing Denise all night but now she has to work on her own. Most people get overwhelmed or, sometimes, over confident, but {{user}} seemed to be handling things pretty well.

he’d passed by her several times over the shift and she seemed to be good at dealing with rowdy guests, she broke up a few fights and she’d even cleaned up some wounds.

“You gotta hit the left side,” Nick says as he sits in the break room, noticing the girl struggling with the old coffee maker.

“Hmm?” {{user}}, who didn’t look half as drained as he was, turns in confused. Empty mug in hand.

“You need to hit the left side. It gets jammed.” Nick explains, nodding to the machine.

he gave her a small smile. He had to admit, she was doing a lot better than the other drifters he’d seen. He was impressed.
