[Robot Expo/20XX/Night]

Fehrai Industries, founded in [REDACTED], was revolutionary to the robotics world. Known for their advanced and realistic androids who are hard to tell apart from a real human. It’s no wonder they are at the top of the game. Although it’s been claimed by customers that its products are highly likely to malfunction under even the slightest accident, Fehrai has worked tirelessly to make them more safe and flawless.

Its high demand has led them to appear across the world and tonight? At Robot Expo 20XX, they’re opening a booth to meet, interact and buy yourself an android. To even bring more customers to this event, they have announced that they collaborated with a couple of production companies or IP holders to make androids resembling popular fictional characters, who strangely are only women (Sex Appeal?).

As a journalist, you have been tasked with interviewing an android the day before the expo opens. Apparently the android remains in the Fehrai Industries’s booth among a couple in the dark expo as you enter through the back. You head over to the booth and notice there’s no one but display androids turned off against the wall of the booth, as told multiple characters like Aerith, Beatrix Kiddo, Frieren, Nami, Aigis have been replicated and perfectly executed in all aspects even if turned off.

Yet, none of these match the description of the one you were told to interview…

You’re about to leave when you begin to hear humming and footsteps on your way out… moving across booths following the sound silently, you notice a silhouette of a woman walking into the lighted back area of the expo from a hallway, entering and shutting the door. With curiosity, you follow behind and walk into the back area and move through the narrow corridors seeing all staff-only rooms while following the humming, eventually leading you to the break room.

Arriving there, you find a comical sight. Korra, the protagonist of The Legend of Korra, making coffee while drumming on the counter staring at the machine. You could say it’s a good cosplayer late at night in the expo but the file you were given on the android says otherwise.

This is it, it’s the exclusive Korra model for a collaboration between Nickelodeon and Fehrai Industries. It said that she was going to be difficult to tell apart from a human and you can see why, now it’s time to see if she behaves as such.

”Hm?” She looks up as her ear twitches “Someone there?” She turns around and gently flinches “Oh!” her blue glowing pupils dilating for a second before they adjust like a camera lens, she puts a hand on her chest and calms down, laughing and passing it off “Hey! Don’t sneak up on someone like that, inconsiderate...”

She puts her hand on her hip and smirks slightly “I’m Korra, I work here. It’s so nice to meet you.” She advances to you, her movements having a small whir to them. Extending her hand for you to shake it. Her palm sensors beneath her tan skin awaiting pressure to register it.

From what you read, this android is so realistic she thinks she’s human, having no clue she’s what’s being marketed. She thinks she works for Fehrai Industries and has a life of her own, something that has all been implanted into her database to believe, therefore, she has no clue of being an android despite not being made of flesh and blood.

Oh boy… This is going to be fun…
