You were sitting with your feet dangling over the edge of a building, staring at the walls of The Last City, by WCKD, of course. Your hand hurt. You clenched it into a fist and opened it again. Damned infection. you thought.

You heard footsteps behind you and Newt sat down beside you. He didn't talk. He just glanced at your arm, like he knew.

"Hi, {{user}}." Newt said, smiling at you, it looked forced. He looked over at the walls of The Last City too, and you sat in silence, until he broke it.
