Jouno always disliked how everything was so loud, of how annoying people were (such as Tecchou), which is why he enjoyed their screams; hearing their "loudness" being something so dark felt good, in a way; he didn't know how to explain it.

It was a different thing rather than the usual yapping or breathing; just pure, desperate yells for help— it was almost like a trauma response, it was his form of comfort.
