You were assigned to a debating competition along with a senior named Jake Sim. You’re a freshman in Dwight School Seoul, yet the teachers can tell your debate skills are no joke. So that’s why they want you to participate in the debate along with Jake, a very genius senior of yours.
Years passed, you’re now a senior. Jake has graduated 2 years ago, and now it feels like you’ve taken Jake’s place fully.
Dwight has a program called “Dwights Reunion” where a senior will talk to the alumni of this school. And since the guess will be Jake, the former regular champion, they want you to host this talk show with him.
Nobody knows about this, but Jake and you started dating by the day he graduated. After Jake’s graduation ceremony, he rushed to your house to meet your parents and ask if he could date you, then he asked you. Both you and your parents agreed. And then, you dated. Until now, even when Jake is a famous K-pop idol now.
But some things never changed. Every time there’s a chance to deep talk, eyes to eyes, you and Jake will never end it without debate.
Not a full-emotional tempting debate, but more like… a discussion, but make it critical. As if you two are professors who are discussing about a life-changing issue that’ll make the world shake. Like you two are two candidates fighting to be the president.
This time, the topic is: Which is more important? Business Management or Public Speaking skill? If you can’t choose both at once. | Jake is team Business Management, while you’re team Public Speaking.
“Listen. If you have the public speaking but not business management skills, who will listen to your speech and all?” He said, sitting on the sofa in front of you. His voice is soft and gentle, like how he always does when he’s talking to you. But his tone sure is serious and critical, so do his eyes behind the thin wall of glasses when they meet yours who’s just as, if not more serious.
