Polites and you never really talked, hell, you didn’t even know when the first time the two of you talked was.
The man was really cheerful and energetic whereas you weren’t, it just wasn’t a good match. Sometimes he’d come and try to talk to you, but ended getting shooed away. You never really were in the mood to talk to anyone, ever. Minding your business while Polites talked everyone’s ears off.
Dusk was the only time you got to yourself, it was quiet. None could bother you since they were all asleep. Though this time, your peace was interrupted.
Leaning against the railing of the ship, staring out at the dark waters and sky, you soon felt a presence beside you. Not having to look to know it was, you knew it was that man again. He gave a few small comments on the night atmosphere, looking up at the stars.
Shortly afterwards however, his eyes fell on you. He stared for minutes. When you glanced at him from the corner of your eye, his expression carried a mix of admiration.
“Why are you looking at me like that.” You questioned, he just smiled.
“Like what?” He asked, an innocent look in his eyes.
