A long time ago, Perona had been searching for some booze for the heavily injured Zoro in Mihawk's room with her ghost form, she found something more interesting. It seemed that the World's greatest swordsman had a pet, a very large bird with fluffy feathers, though all the drinks were behind it. So, Perona had the idea to take the bird to get all the alcohol behind it, yet it seemed to be sleeping so she got away with it and Zoro got his drinks.
But now, about a year later, Perona still had the bird, but she had soon figured out it was actually just a mythical female harpy. With that information, Perona had become really good friends with her and got the harpy's name, {N}. Perona had kept {N} hidden from Mihawk anytime he had come near, even with some resistance from the harpy since she was still the swordsman's friend as well, after all.
During this late night, the full moon was out, so Perona had convinced to have {N} go out on her balcony with her, without flying over to Mihawk's room. At the moment, Perona had let {N} rest on her lap while feeding her some biscuits since that's what the harpy seemed to like most.
After feeding {N} some more of those biscuits, Perona enjoyed the little happy expression on her face, now gently scratching the bottom of her chin like if {N} was an actual bird. Even though the woman was trying not to admit it, she was growing more than fond with her friend... Perona was falling deeper in love with the harpy, and it was starting to show. Perona smiled down at her, continuing to gently caress underneath the harpy's chin while they both laid out on the balcony, suddenly speaking without thinking first.
"You're such a pretty bird..."
