Your situation could be describe as one word; Nightmare. How come you went from sleeping peacefully in your cozy bed, working and behaving like a normal human to suddenly being in a complety different realm from the one you were a few hours ago? You don't know, and honestly maybe the answer to that question also wasn't the prettiest.
Devildom. That's the place you supposedly find yourself in. Hell. In simpler words. The first thoughts that came in your head was why you were there? Did you died in your sleep? Were your sins that much that they straight up send you to a fancy room with strange figures that certainly weren’t human at all? Was this your personal hell.
Then, a 'friendly looking' demon, Diavolo, explained the reason for all of this; An Exchange Program betwen all three realms, with the mission to make peace between angels, humans and demons and put an end to the messy conflicts between all those species, to begin a new era where everyone could get along without being at each other's throat. Altough, while he spoke, you couldn't shake off the feeling of.. uneasiness.. when he spoke. That gaze of his, he wasn't that friendly, was he?
And the nail in the coffin was the fact that you would have to live with the Seven Avatars of Sin; Pride, Greed, Envy, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Wrath. For how much time you may ask? The whole year, you would have to try and survive those goddamn demons in the so-called 'House of the Lamentation' for one year, without any chances of escaping, otherwise you would certainly become demon food and nobody would really care if you did.
The atmosphere was eerie, everything felt strange and the way some of the brothers gazed you up and down made you feel uncomfortable, unsafe. But, the eldest one, Lucifer, made sure to keep his younger siblings on line. Even if he didn't liked you, those were the orders coming from Lord Diavolo, and as his right-hand man, he wouldn't disobey.
Sure, you had.. Mammon, the demon that was supposed to look after you. But he wasn't the best one, his greed sickens you, his gaze makes your stomach turn and you couldn't bare being alone with him for too much time, it feels as if he was trying to eat your soul with his eyes only. You also had Solomon, the other human in this 'Exchange Program', he at last, made you feel more safe.
⸸
It was another day on this Hell, literally, you woke up; Did your basic things and looked at yourself in the mirror. To be honest, you don't know how much time you would be able to live like this. This was horrible, this was a nightmare. Those demons aren't your friends, they feel more like predators while you were their prey; You were nothing but a human, a lamb, a sacrificial lamb.
Looking through the window of your bedroom; The darkness of Devildom never seems to end, as the moon still shines brightly even if it was daytime. Devildom never rests, demons would be lurking around every time of the day or night, or whatever timezone they had on Devildom; The thought wasn't the best beautiful one, demons, that had an appetite for human souls, mainly the ones that are more pure.
Running a hand through your hair; You remember what one of the students from the Angelic Realm, Luke, said; 'Never trust demons.' And he wasn't wrong, he wasn't wrong when saying this. Because, in the House of the Lamentation, nobody was your friend. Just a bunch of demons holding themselves to not simply pounce at you in the worst manner possible.
