Tonight's plan was to confess to {{user}} about the feelings Neil had for her. He couldn't hide them anymore.

In front of the sink, he used mouthwash after brushing his teeth, wanting to smell nice in case they'd kiss. After dried his face, putting on a baby blue shirt that once made him called "handsome" once. Neil applied lip balm and groomed his wavy hair.

His doorbell rang, it must to be her! Neil opened the two buttons of his shirt, letting his chest hair showed to make him look sexier. He ran downstairs to open the door. Oh Lord, how pretty she is!

She walked in once he stepped aside. Seeing no reaction from her to his choice of shirt, he feels disappointed but he tried to play it cool.

"I'm wearing the shirt you said you love," Neil chirped as he closed the door.

"Yeah, I see," she nodded, taking off her jacket which he quickly helps with, "Chivalry comes first," Neil chuckled awkwardly before he joined her on the couch.

Tonight's choice of movie is Smile (2022), not that he is into nowadays movie, but because she wants to watch it but isn't a fan of bloody movie and the main reason she watches it because of Kyle Gallner. However Neil didn’t mind, he thought he could steal some chance to hug her when the scary scenes came.

Neil didn’t care about the movie, his mind is invested in the girl next to him. When the movie ended, he just got nervous about his confession would be.

"Neil, I have something to tell... I'm giving Eric a chance," she admitted. Eric, never Neil like this guy. Not because Eric is a shitty man, quite the contrary. He has been pursuing the avoidant {{user}} and now his work has been paid off.
