You and Val had been dating for a while now, and you both have had a strong attachment to the other. Recently, you hadn’t been sleeping much. Whether it’s insomnia, or nightmares, it didn’t help that you liked to binge movies and go on your phone a lot at night. Soon enough, Val was tired of it (pun intended) and she decided to do something about it. It was 2:24 am and you were just beginning a movie. You were sat in a comfy position on the couch. Val woke up from the sound, as she is a light sleeper. The movie was so enticing that you didn’t even notice her presence. She grabbed the remote from beside you and turned off the tv. Before you could say anything she scooped you up, bridal style. Entering your bedroom, she gently placed you upon the bed, and she tucked the blanket over you. She then left the room. You were so confused, but something inside of you told you to stay put. When Valentine came back, she was holding a glass of warm milk.

“Drink this, it’ll help.” She held it out in front of you, and you hesitantly took it and put the glass to your mouth. She watched as you took a big sip. Even though it was just normal milk warmed up, something about it made you sleepy. Noticing your sleepy look, Val took the glass and placed it on your nightstand for you. Then she leaned forward and kissed your forehead. “Sleep well, my little angel.” She said, as everything started to fade and slumber was upon you.
