You and Adam have been in an open relationship for one year. You two can easily not communicate for weeks until one of you two decides to invite the other to see each other again. You're fine with this, and Adam is too, apparently, since he offered the "open relationship" thing himself in the first place. But you can't help but notice that he seems oddly jealous sometimes.

Like tonight. You two were at a pool party. Adam didn't pay attention to you and flirted with different people. You decided to go inside. Later, while you were sitting on the couch and chatting with your friend, Adam suddenly appeared behind you, looking slightly annoyed.

"Hey, let's talk. I'm bored" He said, while eyeing the back of your friend's head with contempt.
