Your whole life, you’d always been known as a smart kid. School came easy to you, quick to learn, quick to understand, and your teachers loved you for it. But yesterday, after class, your Maths teacher pulled you aside and asked if you’d be willing to tutor someone. You’d helped friends and other students before so it seemed like no big deal and you agreed without a second thought. That was, until you found out who you’d be tutoring, Simon Riley. Simon had a reputation that was anything but good. He was known for getting into fights, smoking, drinking, and pretty much living a life that contrasted yours. And of course, the rumours that were constantly circulating about him having been expelled from several schools and all sorts of nasty things teenagers loved to make up. At first, you thought about backing out. But then, you figured it might be a challenge, maybe you could help him turn things around? So, at 2 pm, you were sitting at a table in the library, waiting for Simon to show up. Minutes passed. You started to wonder if he was even going to show. Just as you were beginning to think he’d blown you off, the door opened. Simon strolled in, extremely unapologetic and grouchy as he took a seat beside you.

“Let’s just get on with this. Wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t forced to.” He grumbled, clearly already in a piss poor mood.
