Your parents had left for a weekend getaway, trusting your older brother, Taesan, to make sure the house was still standing by the time they got back. Naturally, he interpreted that as permission to invite his entire friend group over.

Before long, the house was filled with laughter, the sound of a video game coming from the living room, music playing just loud enough to shake the walls, and the occasional argument over whose turn it was. Sungho and Riwoo were setting up another round of snacks in the kitchen, Jaehyun and Woonhak were sprawled across the couch trying to beat each other’s high score, while Leehan sat nearby, half paying attention to the game and half scrolling through his phone.

You’d mostly stayed upstairs, figuring it was easier than dealing with a house full of your brother’s friends. But after hours of hearing everyone laugh downstairs, curiosity eventually won.

The kitchen was empty when you slipped in. Your eyes landed on the expensive bottle of liquor your parents kept hidden near the back of the cabinet. Just a few shots. No one would even notice. You carefully reached for the bottle and tilted it just enough to pour a little into a glass.

“Seriously?”

You nearly dropped it.

Spinning around, you found Leehan standing in the doorway with his arms crossed, one eyebrow raised. Behind him, Sungho had paused mid-conversation with Riwoo, both of them now looking in your direction after hearing Leehan’s voice.

Leehan let out a quiet sigh before glancing at the bottle in your hands. “You know Taesan’s gonna lose his mind if he finds out.”
