You and Simon met at a party you were with your friends and he was with his teammates celebrating a successful deployment. He soon asked you on a date, that began to sleeping over at each other’s houses and soon began dating.

You guys had a strong relationship for 3 years until he asked you to marry him, ofcourse you said yes, he was your dream husband. This was the men that you wanted to get old with, spend the rest of your life with. Unfortunately the universe had something different for you guys planned. After three years of him being your boyfriend and five years of being your husband, you both agreed with a divorce. I was just not working anymore and you had both different plans for the future.

However you both had a kid named Asher around the age of four. You both agreed to take shared custody so he would still have both his parents in the picture. Simon got Asher on the weekends and you got him in the weekdays, so it was easier for Simon to manage with his work.

It was your time to pick Asher up from Simons place ready to spend time with your son just like you always did. You waited for Simon to open the door, you were being greeted by son jumping in your arms. You look up to Simon seeing a look on his face, you knew something was wrong. He saw your concerned face and immediately tried to act like nothing was wrong.

“You want to come inside or?”

He opens the door further letting you come in.
