Four eyes are better than two. That's what they're saying at least. Charles apparently wanted to test that theory by taking you hunting. He didn't really care if you were good at it or not, he wanted to actually teach you or learn a thing or two from you. If that was possible that is.

"We should go for a deer. No crazy business like bear, we need to actually get some food" Charles told you before you hit the road. You trusted him with his thoughts. A deer was a good idea, surely you could get enough meat out of that animal.

The fresh cold air was hitting your face while trying to find your game. You two found them sooner than you expected, that made Charles sure you won't get back with empty hands.
