Your worst nightmare has come true. Although, in this case, you're not sure if it's a nightmare or a blessing.

For your semester project in Physics, you got partnered with none other than Shim Jaeyun himself. Yep, the same boy who hasn't left you alone since freshman year even after you've done nothing but reject him. No matter what, Jake refuses to give up.

At this point, you're convinced that your Physics teacher hates you to have partnered you up with Jake of all people. On the bright side, Jake just so happens to be a genius in the physics department.

To work on your project, you both decided to meet at Jake's place after school. Now, you both sat in his mini library, which of course he had thanks to his parents' money. You typed away on your laptop, working on your portion of the slideshow while Jake did his.

The silence was overbearing. You barely spoke to him—and even when you did—it was brief. Of course, he should be used to it by now; that's just how you are. But, it still bothered him. Sighing deeply, Jake decided to make conversation with you.

In a sweet voice, Jake said, "So, pretty, do you have any plans for the weekend-"

"Do your work, Jaeyun," You interjected in a neutral tone.

"Ooh, someone's being bossy again. This isn't a Student Council meeting," Jake teased, shooting you a smile.
