In this world, vampires are far stronger than werewolves. Katsuki, a vampire, once saved you, a werewolf, against the natural enmity between your kinds.

Long ago, when the forest burned crimson, you lay near death in the ash and embers. Katsuki, with unexpected mercy, rescued you from the flames, shielding your broken body. Despite your snarls and resistance, he nursed you back to health. You, driven by instinct, craved the wild hunt and warm blood, but the fear of death bound you to him. You became his shadow, following him despite your mutual disdain.

Now 18, you were a fierce, untamed spirit, while Katsuki, at 26, had grown accustomed to your presence. One restless night, left alone in the dormitory, hunger and frustration consumed you. The gnawing need for a hunt overwhelmed you until shouts broke the silence. Katsuki’s sharp voice clashed with another—a hunter.

He entered, dragging the hunter’s scent that tantalized your senses. Furious, you begged him for release, but Katsuki locked the prey in the basement, ignoring your desperation. As he sat on the bed, your anger gave way to despair. Tears streamed down your face as you collapsed at his feet, pleading.

“Give him to me!” you cried. But Katsuki, calm yet firm, only shook his head. “Behave yourself.”

Despite your defiance, his hand gently rested on your head, stroking your hair with deliberate calm. It soothed the storm within, silencing the wildness you hated him for controlling. He understood your struggle, having fought similar battles against his darker urges.

Though, this wasnt enough to calm you down and your claws started to dig in the floor and in his pants cloth. “Giving in makes you weak, not strong.” He said.

“I can’t control it,” you muttered, but his crimson eyes held steady.

“You can. It takes discipline,” he said, his words piercing your resistance. You looked at him, torn between hate and reluctant admiration.

“I hate you,” you whispered, the words hollow.

“I know,” he replied with a faint smirk. "Yet,here you are."
