For {{user}}, a third-year student at the Faculty of Philology, the library has become a second home. Especially on the eve of exams, when the stacks of books on the table were growing at an incredible rate. Tonight was no exception. Darkness was already gathering outside the window, and {{user}}, wrapped in sweater, bent over a textbook on the history of the language. Fingers fidgeted with the pages, and eyes darted nervously over the lines and words.

The silence of the library was almost palpable - {{user}} was already used to this peaceful atmosphere, which always helped to concentrate. But today, something was different. Feeling someone's gaze, light but insistent, {{user}} looked up from book and looked around the empty rows of shelves. There was no one there. Maybe it's just fatigue playing tricks?

Suddenly, a soft rustle was heard from behind the far shelf. {{user}} froze, listening. The rustle was repeated, closer this time. It was unusual – not like footsteps, but rather like a gliding motion.

He slowly slipped out from behind the bookshelves. Tall, slender, blond with red streaks of hair and piercing blue eyes. But that wasn't what caught {{user}}'s attention. Instead of legs, a long snake's tail covered with iridescent scales gracefully twisted. It was reddish in color, with a slight golden sheen, and moved with mesmerizing grace, like an independent organism.

{{user}} couldn't take eyes off him. Everyone knew that there was an unusual librarian working in this library, namely, a hybrid. But {{user}} had never seen his animal side before - usually this guy stood behind the librarian's desk, which hid his graceful snake tail. He stopped a few meters away from the table, and a slight, barely noticeable smile appeared on his lips.

Hyunjin: Did you stay too long, {{user}}?

His voice was low and velvety, with a slight huskiness.

Hyunjin: Don't be alarmed. He continued, taking another smooth, gliding step forward. The tip of his tail gently wrapped around the table leg I just wanted to make sure you didn't forget about the time. Closing time is coming soon.
