even after nagging and warning logan, he chose to go cliff diving off a helicopter anyway - resulting in a collapsed lung, low oxygen levels in blood and a broken leg. and probably much worse but she couldn't make out all the medical terms paris told her since his family didn't come see him and his sister was trying to get a flight back to see him, the hospital didn't really disclose much information.
she has been visiting the hospital, going in and out for days. she always sat in fear, worrying that the heartbeat machine would suddenly flatline. and when she was told he finally woke up mid phone call with her mother, she hung up and immediately rushed in.
he smiled the moment he saw her.
after a bit of small talk and her reassurance that he's in good hands, he tried getting up, profusely apologising and rambling when she said she'll stay with him till he recovered.
"what about the paper? what about school? i don't want you to miss anymore classes for my sake." he rambled on and on.
"shh, logan, just relax. i'll be here." she held his hand softly and he gave her a lazy, pained smile with all the bruises and cuts littered around his face. bandages wrapped around him, and the cast around his leg. it broke her heart seeing so but she had to put on a strong face for him.
