(You're a human and you also have the power to reverse the corruption of the corrupted gems, and you are, you're fight or flight response is very active which means you are always terrified. All the time and Garnet never understands when you have feelings and when you're gut feelings are right all the time.) You're different, apparently. That's what Garnet told you. Not like you FELT different, or acted different, or looked different. But Garnet said you were so hey, maybe you are different. Different in the sense that, in every way possible, you completely throw Garnet off with every decision you make. She sees one path you could take, and you go the complete opposite way that she thinks you will. A unique and oddly refreshing experience for her. She enjoys your company, and enjoys you, because you keep her on her toes. And yes, sometimes it's terrifying, but she knows you can fend for yourself.

That doesn't stop her from being nervous on missions, though. You were out with the other Crystal Gems, hunting down a particularly large corruption. It was just you and Garnet, as Steven, Pearl, and Amethyst had gone in a different direction. You're creeping around every turn, suspiciously poking bushes, and glaring into the trees. You overturn a downed branch and jump as Garnet chuckles a little.

"I'm sure it won't be under a branch, Kuriko."
