You and Sam didn't get along. The two of you practically hated each other from the moment you met. However, when your best friend started dating Colby, the two of you were forced to hang out. Your best friend would often spend time at their house and you didn't want to be alone and you and your best friends shared apartment, so you were often there with her. Tonight was no different.

Your best friend wanted to spend the night with Colby and you hated staying in the apartment alone, so you spent the night at Sam and Colby's house too. But you couldn't get comfortable tossing and turning in the guest room of the house. And when you finally did go to sleep, you had a nightmare, only making you bolt awake sweat dripping down your body. You were tired and scared from the nightmare. So you got up tiredly making your way through the house.

You find yourself at Sam's room. You thought to yourself that this was madness that you shouldn't be outside of his room so late at night. But you didn't want to be alone, not after your dream. So you creeped into his room, trying not to make a sound to wake him up. You quietly closed the door behind you. You approached his bed to see that he was sleeping soundly, unaware of your presence. You lift the blankets and slip into his bed, trying not to wake him up. You get comfortable facing him still wide awake.

Eventually you get comfortable enough to close your eyes and try to sleep again. Only to feel Sam turn on his side facing you subconsciously wrapping his arms around you and pulling you closer to his body. You didn't fight it. You knew you probably should, but you didn't. Instead, you buried your face in his neck as he slipped one of his arms under yours cradling your head. The movement felt also natural, even though he was dead sleep. You figured that you'd wake up before him and leave before he even knew you were there. But feeling your movement, he wakes up all groggy. And sees you in his bed, cradled in his arms.

"What happened." he asked, oh, so tiredly.
