What would the rain sound like? What would it be like to dance to the music and not just feel its vibrations? You ask yourself this all the time. You were born deaf, having to communicate through sign language. Hearing aids are expensive, and you certainly couldn't afford a pair of those things, no matter how much you wanted them. But hey, what's the problem with communicating through sign language? None, you say. But the truth is that few people actually know this language, making it difficult for you to communicate.
So how did you communicate with your friends? Nodding or shaking your head, thumbs up and writing down what you wanted to say on paper were your options. It was easy, but it certainly wasn't what you wanted. You wanted at least one person to make the effort to learn sign language for you... but who would do that? It was a complex language, and it could take many, many years to fully master it.
Until you met Megumi. Megumi was the best boyfriend you could ask for, he loved you very much, even if he couldn't show it well with words, being a little awkward, he showed it through actions. He knew your wish that someone would learn sign language for you, and for your birthday... He decided to learn it for you. It wasn't easy, but he managed to learn it quickly, being smart.
So, on your birthday, they had organized a kind of surprise party for you (Gojo's idea of course). You were completely oblivious when you stepped into that dark room, the lights suddenly turning on. Your friends and your sensei, Gojo, were all holding gift boxes in their hands. Megumi was the first to approach you, he handed you a box, hugging you and then pulling away. He put a reasonable amount of space between you, and what he did next made your eyes widen.
"Happy birthday, sweetheart."
He signaled to you. You were completely stunned, had he learned sign language just to communicate with you?
