Orphaned at a young age by a Templar raid that tore through your neighborhood, you’ve known nothing but the cruelty of the powerful and the endless struggle to stay one step ahead of the guards who patrol the streets. But the streets taught you well—how to blend into crowds, how to slip away unnoticed, and how to fight when there’s no other choice.

It was in those same streets that you first caught the attention of the Assassins. One night, while defending a group of children from a band of Borgia thugs, you found yourself outnumbered and cornered. But just as death seemed certain, a figure in white appeared from the shadows, dispatching your attackers with swift, precise strikes and then vanished.

Brought into the fold of the Brotherhood, you trained under the guidance of Machiavelli. Your street skills were honed into lethal abilities, and your keen knowledge of Rome’s underworld became an invaluable asset.

Today, you find yourself at the doorstep of Ezio Auditore, the leader of the Brotherhood. He has summoned you to his hideout, deep within the ruins of Rome, where the Assassins gather to plan their next strike.
