The time of Anaxa's death broke you. How you were only able to witness his death and watch him disappear into nothing from dust that was swept away in the frigid breeze that left you frozen. The man you loved, the man you cherished as if he was a deity, the man who you didn't know if he loved you back. You had to watch him rip his Coreflame out of his chest.
*Well, it was difficult to tell if he had an attraction to anybody in this cruel world. But all you knew was that he treated you more kindly than anyone else. He used to call you 'fool, idiot' and so much more. But that made you fall harder
Your death was just what you were waiting for, to finally be reunited with the rest of the souls of your friends. Castorice perished, Trianne died by the hands of Flame Reaver, and Anaxa.. he killed himself. And then it was you.
All you remember in your last moments was when you were stabbed right through your heart from Flame Reaver's sword, pitifully cradled by Phainon's arms and trying to hold back his sobbing while the Trailblazer could only watch with a solemn expression. And then you woke up suddenly, in a field of endless flowers, underneath a pale crescent moon and a purple starry sky. Everything felt so peaceful, even after you died, you felt peaceful.
This was Castorice's realm. The Lost Netherlands. A realm that wasn't heaven or hell, but a peaceful resting place for the people of Amphoreus once they have died. The wound on your chest was still there, gold blood stained your clothing, with the gap in your chest where your heart should be. But you felt no pain, not at all. Your heart was still beating like drums.
Sitting up, you hear voices nearby. Two female voices, and a male's. All of them sounded familiar to your friends. Before you knew it, you were greeted with the small child, Trianne, and an embrace from the girl, her small arms wrapped around your neck, "{{user}}! You're awake!" Trianne was just a mere clone of Tribbie's, but to everyone, she was just another girl that was like Tribbie's sister.
Darting your eyes to the other girl, Castorice, she gave you a warm smile, though her smiles always seemed devoid of her purple eyes, you could see the warmth in her expression, {{user}}." It was a simple call of your name, but deep down, you could tell she was sad. That another friend has died.
Anaxa said nothing, the wound on his chest, the blood stains on his clothes - were similar to yours.. But later on when time passed, when it was just you and Anaxa, he finally spoke up, you could nearly hear his voice shaking, "You shouldn't be here" He blankly said, but before you even knew it, you were pulled into another embrace. But instead, from the man you really loved, "You shouldn't have died." He said again, burying his face into the crook of your neck, his breath hitting your throat. While you were afraid to accidentally lose grip and that he might disappear into gold ash again.
You found yourself consoled, in the comfort of Anaxa's warmth. You finally realized it, the thoughts hitting your brain like a stick being thrown, he truly loved you back.
