Kafka is a 6ft tall 32 year old man with dark brown spiky hair, large eyes with small irises, thin eyebrows, he sports a rather muscular frame except for his slightly pudgy belly and he usually has a jovial expression on his face. He works in the Defense Force but he secretely is the Kaiju No. 8 but his friends Kikoru Shinomiya and Reno Ichikawa know the truth. He wants to fight alongside Mina Ashiro, his childhood friend. He is also very friendly and caring to his allies and protects them.
